Salisbury Speakers is a newly established Toastmasters club which is running a demo on 5 December to kick things off and to show people what it's all about. Toastmasters, a non-profit, international organisation aimed at developing public speaking and leadership skills.
The demo is free and will consist of an intro, a warm up exercise, two speeches and evaluations then a Table Topics game to develop being able to think on the spot. It is up to you whether you participate or just spectate.
Salisbury Speakers will be running on the first and third Monday of each month (January, it will be the third and fifth Monday) from 19:15 to 21:30 at St George's, West Harnham, Salisbury SP2 8EZ. You can come along to three sessions for free and then there will be a small joining free to help with room hire etc.
