This auction is for a very pretty little MG Midget 1500 in Glacier White. In my opinion these small MG's look their best in white, and this particular car is a very neat and tidy example. She is a 1975 model, one of the first to be fitted with the 1500 engine. As the car is very lightweight this gives an excellent power-to-weight ratio making it a nippy little motor car. I'll just point out that this car belongs to a friend of mine; he has asked me to list it for him. The car has been with her present owner for 13 years, and was subject to a comprehensive restoration in 1997. There is a photographic record of the work done which included new floors, sills & wings. The car is now still in great condition, which shows the quality of the work done. Since being restored, she has only covered approximately 5, 500 miles, and has always been garaged.
